containerd
簡介
containerd 是一個高級容器運行時,又名容器管理器。簡單來說,它是一個守護進程,在單個主機上管理完整的容器生命周期:創建、啟動、停止容器、拉取和存儲鏡像、配置掛載、網絡等。Containerd被設計成可以很容易地嵌入到更大的系統中。Docker使用containerd來運行容器。Kubernetes可以通過CRI使用containerd來管理單個節點上的容器。
nerdctl
簡介
Nerdctl 是一個相對較新的containerd命令行客戶端。與ctr不同,nerdctl的目標是用戶友好和docker兼容。在某種程度上,nerdctl + containerd可以無縫地替代docker + dockerd。nerdctl的目標是促進試驗Docker中沒有的最前沿的容器特性。這些特性包括但不限于lazy-pulling(stargz)和鏡像加密(ocicrypt)。
從基本用法的角度來看,與ctr相比,nerdctl支持:
- 與Docker相同的UI/UX,熟悉docker(或podman) CLI,你就已經熟悉nerdctl;
- 使用nerdctl構建鏡像
- 容器網絡管理
- 支持Docker Compose(nerdctl compose up)
- 支持 rootless mode, without slirp overhead (bypass4netns)
安裝
下載地址:containerd/nerdctl,中下載最新的可執行文件,每一個版本都有兩種可用的發行版
- 精簡版 (nerdctl--linux-amd64.tar.gz): 只包含nerdctl
- 完整版 (nerdctl-full--linux-amd64.tar.gz): 包含 containerd, runc, and CNI等依賴
如果你已經安裝了 Containerd,只需要選擇前一個發行版,否則就選擇完整版。

將歸檔文件解壓到 /usr/local/bin

注意:對于非root用戶以上命令需要加上sudo,而且還要額外運行
containerd-rootless-setuptool.sh installz
,這個rootless-setuptool目前不支持centOS 7及其以下。
命令參數
可選的參數使用和 docker run 基本一直,比如 -i、-t、–cpus、–memory 等選項,可以使用 nerdctl run --help 獲取可使用的命令選項:

鏡像構建
鏡像構建是平時我們非常重要的一個需求,我們知道 ctr 并沒有構建鏡像的命令,而現在我們又不使用 Docker 了,那么如何進行鏡像構建了,幸運的是 nerdctl 就提供了 nerdctl build 這樣的鏡像構建命令。
構建鏡像需要我們安裝 buildctl 并運行 buildkitd,這是因為 nerdctl build 需要依賴 buildkit 工具。
buildkit 項目也是 Docker 公司開源的一個構建工具包,支持 OCI 標準的鏡像構建。它主要包含以下部分:
- 服務端 buildkitd:當前支持 runc 和 containerd 作為 worker,默認是 runc,我們這里使用 containerd
- 客戶端 buildctl:負責解析 Dockerfile,并向服務端 buildkitd 發出構建請求
buildkit 工具以及 buildkitd服務配置包含在安裝nerdctl完整Full過程中,此處不在再贅述。
以定制一個 nginx 鏡像為例,新建一個如下所示的 Dockerfile 文件:

ctr
簡介
ctr是作為 containerd 項目的一部分提供的命令行客戶端。如果您在一臺機器上運行了 containerd,那么ctr二進制文件很可能也在那里。該ctr界面 [顯然] 與 Docker CLI不兼容,乍一看,可能看起來不太用戶友好。顯然,它的主要受眾是測試守護進程的容器開發人員。但是,由于它最接近實際的 containerd API,因此它可以作為一種很好的探索手段——通過檢查可用命令,您可以大致了解 containerd可以做什么和不可以做什么。ctr也非常適合學習的能力低級別[OCI]容器的運行時間,因為ctr + containerd是更接近實際的容器比docker + dockerd。

注意: 與友好的docker運行生成唯一的容器ID不同,使用ctr,你必須自己提供唯一的容器ID。ctr運行命令也只支持一些常見的docker運行標志: --env, -t,–tty, -d,–detach,–rm,等等。但是沒有端口發布或使用–restart總是開箱即用的自動容器重新啟動。
一般我們會將容器進程防止后臺啟動,這樣啟動容器
$ sudo ctr run -t -d docker.io/library/nginx:latest nginx1

crictl
簡介
crictl 是Kubelet容器接口(CRI)的CLI和驗證工具。你可以使用它來檢查和調試 Kubernetes 節點上的容器運行時和應用程序。 crictl 和它的源代碼在 cri-tools
代碼庫。
它不會負責以下內容:
- 基于CRI構建新的kubelet容器運行時;
- 由終端用戶管理CRI兼容運行時的pod/container,例如crictl創建的pod可能會被kubelet自動刪除,因為在kube-apiserver上不存在;
- crictl 不是 docker 替代者。

crictl

crictl 默認連接到 unix:///var/run/dockershim.sock
。 對于其他的運行時,你可以用多種不同的方法設置端點:
- 通過設置參數
