Focus on在論文寫作中常用，指出研究點，例如：

There are three approaches to achieving ID authentication. Our study will focus on ……（有三種途徑實現身份認證，我們的研究專注于……）

concentrate?（on）指聚精會神的狀態，很少用于指出“研究焦點”，但可以描述研究工作。例如：

Scientists concentrated?on development of nuclear weapons, neglecting its catastrophic consequences.（科學家們專注于核武器的開發，忽略了核武器的災難性后果。）

Researchers concentrated on ……for a long time and obtained lots of interesting results.（研究人員們長時間專注于……的研究，并且取得了很多有價值的結果。）

注意上句中interesting?翻譯為“有價值的”。interesting?形容研究結果本意是“令人感興趣的”，所以當然是有價值的。
